World cancer day is February 4th.

Much of the focus is about reducing risk by raising awareness of lifestyle factors linked to the disease.

General advice can be found on the Cancer Research UK website, and covers the following:

  • smoking
  • quality of nutrition
  • exercise
  • obesity
  • alcohol intake
  • sun exposure
